Established on 1st May 2023, Workers Unmuted is a community project currently led by 8 university students from USIM and UTeM. Our mission is to promote and protect workers ' rights in Malaysia, emphasizing a politically-neutral stance while advocating for socialistic principles. While we applaud political parties that champion socialism, we maintain our commitment to political neutrality. Through this student-led initiative, Workers Unmuted seeks to raise awareness and educate workers about their rights as outlined in the Employment Act 1955 (Amendment) 2022 and other relevant legislation. Additionally, our project aims to extend this educational outreach to students and the public, addressing issues related to the manipulation of workers ' rights.
